The Role
We are seeking a dynamic and commercial Director of Admissions, Marketing and Communication (DAM) to join our school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT).
Your primary responsibility is to drive student enrolment. You will achieve this by ensuring every family receives an exceptional, world-class experience at each stage of their journey with our school—from initial awareness and consideration through to enrolment and advocacy.
As a key ambassador for the school brand, you will lead, coach, and develop your team's commercial and creative skills. You will be pivotal in building our school's reputation and community by forging great relationships with colleagues and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will be built around these key areas:
... Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to set the strategic MAC (Marketing, Admissions, Communications) direction for the school. You will manage the MAC budget, maintain up-to-date knowledge of your market and competitors, and develop the school's brand positioning to ensure we are differentiated in the market.
Driving Performance: Focus all activity on driving enquiries and converting those enquiries into enrolments. You will also be responsible for maximizing re-enrolment numbers each year by ensuring a fantastic in-school experience.
Data & Insights: Use data to drive performance. This includes using our CRM (Salesforce) to efficiently manage the enrolment pipeline , analyzing campaign metrics, and advising the SLT on market research (like parent satisfaction and brand equity) to guide whole-school improvement.
Flawless Execution: Lead the development and execution of a "first class, every time" approach to the entire Family Experience Journey. This includes ensuring every family receives a highly personalized visit (physically or virtually) and a seamless digital experience.
Team Leadership: Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing school MAC team, ensuring execution to the highest standards.
Building Reputation: Bring the school's story to life. You will be the key voice in defining a distinctive brand, ensuring all school communications adhere to our Visual Identity and Tone of Voice guidelines. You will also develop external networks (embassies, relocation agents, feeder schools) to build awareness and target new enrolment opportunities.
Skills & Experience
Degree educated.
At least seven years of demonstrable experience in brand-building, sales, and/or marketing roles, ideally in service delivery.
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage and coach a team to achieve business objectives.
A natural communicator adept at building relationships and influencing outcomes at all levels.
You must love data, with experience capturing, analyzing, and using it to create actionable insights.
Digitally savvy, able to make a positive contribution to the school’s digital footprint (owned, earned, and paid media).
Superb project management skills.
