Territory Sales ManagerWe are hiring for our important chemical client: Territory Sales Manager. Chromaflo Technologies is a premier global provider of colorant technology solutions, serving customers in architectural and industrial coatings as well as the thermosetcomposites market. With more than eight decades of industry experience in colorantsystems and chemical pigment dispersions, the Chromaflo family serves customersacross six continents. Summary of Position:Manage direct sales efforts of Chromaflo Technologies' Thermosets business in SouthAmerica. Increase sales and share through existing accounts, development of newaccounts and support to external sales representatives (Distributor/Agent) in assignedterritory. Responsibilities include direct management of existing and new customer relationshipsand increasing product sales in the assigned territory through market development andconversion of primary sales targets including the proliferation of existing product linesand new product line introductions. Qualifications: ? 4 year degree preferably in chemistry, engineering or 5+ years of equivalentbusiness experience? Ability to travel abroad frequently? Excellent oral/written communication (Spanish and English required), inaddition Portuguese preferred? Technical/product knowledge? Understanding of customer processes, applications, and technology? Project management skills? Demonstrated initiative? Strong interpersonal and organizational skillsMajor Areas of Responsibility:Customer Contact and Relationships? Maintain close contact with customers and develop strong relationships withkey decision-makers, including technical personnel, purchasing and marketingdepartments. Understanding Customer Strategies and Needs? Know customer requirements, processes, direction, potential, structure, andmarket share. Communicate internally for maximum support and customersatisfaction.Understand Chromaflo Technologies' Capabilities? Know and understand what Chromaflo Technologies has to offer and effectivelycommunicate to customers. Capitalize on opportunities to grow the territorythrough the introduction of products, services and other capabilities. Internal Relationships? Cultivate internal relationships so that customers receive internal support andensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Effectively communicate, internally, customer strategies and requirements. External Sales Reps? Manage relationships with external sales representatives (Distributor/Agent)through joint customer development, account conversions, and customerrelationship support. Sales Plan Implementation? Support and achieve the Sales Plan through the retention of key accounts anddevelopment of target accounts. Profitability? Increase sales in the territory for maximum profitability. Reporting? Communicate all important business, market, competitive, and customer issueson a timely basis to management and those others involved. Report project status, business activity, and market intelligence to the Business Director Thermosets - Americas on a monthly basis. Summarize activities on a routine basis as requiredand provide quarterly reviews to plan. Submit reports, including customer callreports, on a timely basis. Safety? Comply with safety rules and regulations. Report injury/illness and/orenvironmental incidents. Measure of Performance and Accountability: ? Sales increase / decrease?
